MEET OUR SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM

Ryan Burkett

Ryan Burkett

Ryan has worked within BCS for over 10 years and has achieved full AAT and ACCA membership. Throughout his years working in the Management Accounting department at BCS Ryan has gained a great deal of hands on experience in providing management reporting support and advice directly to businesses spanning a broad range of sectors. He specialises in providing day-to-day management accounting services and working with clients to further develop their internal accounting infrastructures. Ryan has varied experience including VAT, income tax and FCA compliance.

Sandra Whaites

Sandra Whaites

Sandra joined BCS in 2011 and has been working in payroll roles for close to 50 years. Her experience in payroll was initially gained in relation to large organisations in the industrial, food manufacturing and healthcare sectors. However, on joining BCS Sandra moved into the professional services sector and has been liaising with a considerably wider payroll market.

Sandra has successfully obtained the payroll qualification SMPA making her a Supervisory Member of the Payroll Alliance.

Trina Hill

Trina Hill

Trina is a Chartered Secretary in Public Practice and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA). She has over 20 years’ experience in the company secretarial field, having previously worked in FTSE listed companies and the financial services sector. She has been in professional practice since 2006.

Trina complements her work at BCS with involvement in education and examinations at the ICSA. In June 2017 she revised and updated the ICSA Study Text for Corporate Governance.

David O'Farrell

David O'Farrell

David is the Managing Director of BCS, having worked within the practice since the early 1990’s. David is a qualified accountant and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), with 30 years’ experience in accountancy and business advisory services.

David’s career has evolved within the accountancy practice environment and he predominantly works in and around the Cambridge and London areas, expanding through numerous business sectors, including hedge funds, Cambridge high-tech businesses and pharmaceutical firms.

Louise O'Farrell

Louise O'Farrell

Louise has now worked in the financial sector for over 25 years. Her career began with taxation training at then Touche Ross until in the early 1990’s she moved into management accounting based work within BCS.

As BCS has developed, Louise dedicated her time to being the Practice Manager of the business and in this capacity she is responsible for operations, smooth running of the office, organising staff workloads, resourcing and HR processes.

Lloyd White

Lloyd White

Lloyd joined BCS in 2011 and began studying for the ACCA qualification which he fully completed in 2014. After graduating with a degree in Accounting and Management in 2010 he initially worked in the personal tax department at Grant Thornton.

Lloyd’s BCS work now focuses his attention within a number of areas, particularly in the preparation of corporation and personal tax returns for our clients, as well as monthly management and year end accounts.

Robert Simmons

Robert Simmons

Rob joined BCS in 2011 as a qualified professional and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He commenced his career at BCS as a Manager and is responsible for the overall management of the Year End Accounting department.

Prior to BCS, Rob gained experience within a wide variety of industries in both accountancy and audit roles, predominately in the East Anglian region. Whilst managing the year end sector, he also maintains a healthy balance of providing outsourced management accounting and taxation services to clients.
